I would use this graphic organizer for a after reading activity for students. I would have the students read a nonfiction book on a part of World War 2, such as Pearl Harbor and have them complete this after they read.

2) For my next activity I would have the students create a airplane mobile on main idea and supporting details. The students will first read a book on World War two. Then they will get a big piece of construction paper and draw and cut out an airplane. They will write the main idea on the airplane. Then the students will take string and attach three or more supporting details.

3) Have the students create a bubble map on main idea on one of the books that they read about World War 2.
